Peggy Ray, Gwen Williams, Trudi Featherstone and Jemma Dally are delighted to announce that Amanda Cattle and Kevin Skinner have accepted an invitation to join the LLP as new fixed share members from 1st June 2015.
Amanda specialises in representing parties to public law proceedings and complex cases between parents.
Amanda has been a family law lawyer for 19 years. She has built a particularly strong reputation for representing older children subject to family proceedings. Amanda also advises and represents people in Court of Protection proceedings where she is able to transfer her passion for ensuring effective legal protection for vulnerable children to vulnerable adults.
Amanda is a member of the Association of Lawyers for children and has been on the Children Panel since 2001.
Kevin has expertise in international custody disputes, child abduction, matrimonial proceedings and care proceedings. He is assisting in developing Goodman Ray’s growing practice representing alternative families, advising on civil partnership and co-parenting arrangements and surrogacy. He has been awarded the Law Society Family Law (Advanced) Accreditation, specialising in Child Abduction and Private Children Law.
In 2013, Kevin was awarded Outstanding Newcomer in the field of Children Law by the Association of Lawyers for Children. In the same year he was a finalist for Family Law Young Solicitor of the Year at the Jordan Family Law Awards. Kevin appears in the Legal 500 described as being “a rising star” (2014) and “… excellent, and go[es] the extra mile” (2013).
