Novlet Levy became a Trainee Solicitor at Goodman Ray in November 2016. She was previously a paralegal working within Goodman Ray’s child protection department and assisted in the representation of parties to public law family proceedings as well as private law children proceedings. Novlet has recently assisted Amanda Cattle in bringing an appeal to the Court of Appeal representing a teenage client who had been made subject to a Deprivation of Liberty order made under the inherent jurisdiction of the High Court.
Novlet’s work to date has largely consisted of assisting on cases representing children’s guardian’s in care proceedings, she also has experience in assisting in representing a number of respondent parents to care proceedings.
Novlet graduated from the school of law at Queen Mary University of London in 2013 and completed her LPC at the University of Law in 2015 after being awarded a full scholarship from the Law Society. Novlet has a keen interest in Human Rights and Civil Liberties.
Novlet is a member of the Law Society Diversity Access Scheme and the Junior Lawyers Division.
