Shabina Begum joins Goodman Ray as a partner
Shabina is an expert in child abduction matters from both Hague and Non-Hague signatory contracting States. She also specialises in domestic violence, honour based violence, forced marriage, transnational abandonment and female genital mutilation cases.
She is Resolution accredited in Child Abduction and Forced Marriage and Honour based abuse. She was one of the 2023 Law Society Legal Heroes. She was featured in Management Today’s “35 Women Under 35, 2020 ” List of Britain’s Brightest Young Business Leaders and described as an “exceptional lawyer” and a “pioneer in her field“. She was also the winner of the Women of the Future Award 2020 in the “Business Category.”
Some of her notable cases include representing parents from the North America, Greater Gulf Countries and Asia Pacific.
