We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team

About the role:

As an experienced family paralegal, you will support our solicitors in all aspects of family law cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing administrative case management tasks, including opening and closing of files, diarising deadlines, time recording, billing; preparing files for costing; organising meetings and maintaining solicitors’ diaries.
  • Assisting in preparation/drafting legal documents and filing court documents.
  • Conducting legal research and gathering evidence for cases.
  • Liaising with LAA, clients, counsel, clerks and experts.
  • Assisting with hearing preparation, including bundles and court clerking, when necessary.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year’s experience in family law or a similar legal field.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of family law procedures.
  • Hard working and dedicated with a passion for family law.
  • Demonstrate a keen, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Be able to effectively manage own workload and to do list and work independently as well as being part of a team.
  • Be adaptable and flexible with a willingness to take on additional tasks and assist others, where necessary.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, P4W, CCMS and e-filing systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Are you an experienced solicitor with a passion for supporting vulnerable individuals? We are looking for a dedicated, empathetic and hardworking Solicitor to join our team, specialising in Domestic Abuse and Child Arrangements cases.

  • Handle complex and sensitive matters in domestic abuse and child arrangements.
  • Offer expert legal advice and support to clients during difficult times.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2-3 year PQE in family law, with a focus on domestic abuse and child arrangements.
  • A strong understanding of the legal issues surrounding domestic violence and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • The ability to work independently, while also being a strong team player.
