Hilda joined Goodman Ray in July 2016 as a paralegal in the Adoption, Surrogacy and International Child Care department, before becoming a trainee solicitor in May 2019.

Hilda has extensive experience of children cases, particularly those with an international element. She has assisted on a range of complex child abduction cases involving Hague Convention and non-Hague Convention countries, and worked on the case of Borg v El Zubaidy (committal application [2018] EWHC 432 (Fam).

Hilda is in her second year of training and is currently completing her Divorce and Matrimonial Finance Department. She is due to qualify in May 2021.


Education & Memberships

Hilda completed her undergraduate law degree at De Montfort University, and she undertook the Legal Practice Course part-time from 2017-2019. Hilda is member of Young Legal Aid Lawyers and The Black Solicitors Network.
