Katrin joined the Adoption, Surrogacy and International Child Care Department in 2015.
She specialises in cases concerning children, with a particular focus on representing parents in public law (care) proceedings. Katrin is accredited by the Law Society Children Panel, and acts for children through their Guardians.
At Goodman Ray Katrin is extending her adoption experience and is delighted to join the team’s high profile surrogacy practice, as well as continuing her existing work for parents and children in child protection cases. Katrin also has experience of cases featuring Forced Marriage, child abduction, leave to remove, and wardship.
Katrin’s caseload frequently involves representing vulnerable clients and her skills are attuned to the need for calm, patient and compassionate advice and support.
Her work has been commended recently by the Judge in a long running complex case as being assiduous in her pursuit of legal remedies for her client. The case featured parallel criminal proceedings and a judicial review instigated by her client.
