Hilda represents clients in children cases, including in the High Court. She acts for parents in private law cases involving disputes about contact and residence issues, including intractable contact disputes and those involving allegations of domestic abuse and parental alienation. Hilda has practice representing parents in care proceedings and applications for special guardianship orders.
Hilda also frequently acts for clients in complex cross border children cases. She represents clients in international relocation cases, including applications for permission to relocate abroad on both a temporary and permanent basis. She represents both applicants and respondents in child abduction proceedings, as well as in Article 21 rights of access cases and proceedings pursuant to the inherent jurisdiction of the High Court. She has experience of cases involving jurisdictional disputes.
