Rachael is a Solicitor at Goodman Ray and specialises in domestic abuse, private law children, divorce and financial remedy disputes.
Rachael advises clients on Family Law Act and Children Act applications which includes Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders. She is also able to advise on allegations involving coercive control, sexual abuse and parental alienation. Rachael has expertise in working with vulnerable clients, taking on urgent work and applying to the court for emergency orders.
Rachael also takes instructions on matters concerning divorce and financial remedy disputes.
Rachael’s client focused approach prioritises clear communication and pragmatic advice, whilst offering calm and compassionate support.
Having joined Goodman Ray in August 2021 as a paralegal, Rachael went on to successfully complete her training contract under the supervision of Trudi Featherstone, Jemma Dally, Thomas Brownrigg, Janet Broadley, Sheeja Sukumaran and Emma Sherrington. Rachael has assisted on a range of complex matters including international abduction, non-accidental injury, private law children and appeals.
