Tom joined Goodman Ray in 2015 from a criminal practice and completed his training with the firm, qualifying as a solicitor in November 2018.
Tom specialises in children’s law and has a varied work load which consists of public law matters, such as emergency protection order proceedings and care and supervision proceedings, and private law matters concerning adoption, child arrangements, abduction and surrogacy.
Tom has extensive experience in representing parents in family proceedings where there are child protection concerns and allegations of child abuse and domestic violence.
Tom has a particular interest in cases concerning complex factual disputes such a non-accidental injury and fabricated and induced illness cases in addition to cases involving human rights infringements.
Tom is also involved in Goodman Ray’s expanding Court of Protection department.
