Leading family solicitors, Goodman Ray  moves to new home

20th December 2021

Leading solicitors, Goodman Ray are excited to announce their move to a new address, 9 Gough Square London EC4A 3DG.

Goodman Ray’s new offices are in the heart of London’s legal centre, just off Fetter Lane and a stone’s throw away from the Royal Courts of Justice and the Central Family Court.   Their new offices will provide conference and meeting rooms, suitable for remote Court hearings, meetings, and an open-plan area to host seminars, training events and to encourage collaborative working.

Peggy Ray, Senior Partner at Goodman Ray said “the firm moved to our offices in Shoreditch some 11 years ago and we have enjoyed the buzz of that area.   However, as we develop as a firm, we are delighted to be able to take the opportunity to move into the heart of the legal world”

Trudi Featherstone, Partner at Goodman Ray said “Our new premises will provide the very best facilities for our staff and clients.   As a firm, we remain committed to alternative resolution services and our bespoke meeting and conference rooms mean we will be able to grow in that area of work and in those services”

Jemma Dally, Partner at Goodman Ray said “being in the heart of London’s legal world is important to us.  Being close to our working colleagues and to the Royal Courts of Justice and Central Family Court is an exciting opportunity for us and we look forward to welcoming you at our new offices in the New Year.”

9 Gough Square was previously known as Boswell House, after James Boswell. James Boswell wrote in support of slavery around the time of its abolition. We are vehemently opposed to slavery and promoting those associated with it, so have decided to drop Boswell’s name from the property. We will be renaming the property more appropriately in due course.

Goodman Ray will open at their new offices on 17th January 2022.
