Marie graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a First Class Honours in 2020 and completed the Legal Practice Course and LLM at the University of Law in 2021 attaining a Distinction . She joined Goodman Ray in April 2021 as a Paralegal and started her Training Contract in November 2022. Marie has a broad experience of family law assisting on matters involving adoption, surrogacy, abduction and care proceedings. During her time at Goodman Ray, Marie has assisted on several cases at the High Court and Court of Appeal. For example, Marie worked on Re L, Re M (Declaration of Parentage) [2022] EWFC 38 where a declaration of parentage was made in respect of an adopted adult.
