It has been reported that the Ministry of Justice has admitted that there is an error in the Form E available for download from its website.
The error in the court website Form E is a worrying revelation which may have disrupted settlements in cases where debts or liabilities have reduced the overall assets.
At Goodman Ray our Forms E (and all our financial remedy forms) are generated using Class Legal’s Quantum software. If any of our clients have used the court website Form E to provide us with financial information this information is manually transferred into Quantum. This will have remedied any errors in the court website version of the form. We have confirmed with Class Legal, the publishers of Quantum, that the Quantum calculations are correct.
